WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This course is for deaf and hearing people who have completed Part 1 and Part 2 of the Inclusive Leadership training programme and are now already leading teams. It is also suitable for people who are thinking about stepping up into team-leadership roles or have recently been assigned as team leaders.
COURSE AIMS:
Building on previous knowledge from Part 1 and 2 of the training programme and following the Adair Leadership curriculum, the objectives are to help people:
- to understand their role as inclusive team leaders,
- look at inclusive leadership in practice with an analysis of their strengths and areas that require development.
- develop the ability to recognise the needs of a situation and the sort of leadership actions that can lead to success.
- practice in the leadership techniques that enable individuals to contribute fully to their teams in achieving the tasks.
- develop a personal action plan to take back to their work/volunteering situation.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Part 1 and Part 2 Inclusive Leadership training needs to be completed first.
