WHO IS THISCOURSE FOR ?

This course is for deaf and hearing people who have completed Parts 1 , 2 and 3 of our Inclusive Leadership programme and already have more than one team manager reporting to them. Or they are looking to the next step up to operational leadership.

We will be exploring how inclusive leadership skills can be applied where organisations have both deaf and hearing staff / volunteers.


COURSE AIMS:

Building on previous knowlege from Parts 1,2 and 3 of the training programme, following the

Adair Leadership curriculum, the objectives are to help people to:

  • understand their role as inclusive operational leaders
  • look at inclusive leadership in practice with analysis of their own strengths and areas that require development.
  • develop the ability to recognise the needs of a situation and the sort of
  • leadership actions that can lead to success.
  • practice in the leadership techniques that enable individuals to contribute fully
  • to their teams in achieving the tasks.
  • develop a personal action plan to take back to their work / volunteering situation.


COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Parts 1, 2 and 3 of our Inclusive Leadership training must be completed first.
